About the program

The proposal concerning religious works that define “Christian Cordoba” is complemented by a new and unprecedented musical form. On the one hand, there is the selection of two very important composers in the creation of such repertoire as J.S. Bach and F. Liszt, considered representatives and spokesmen of cultured and religious music for the number of works that have dedicated this genre and for their personal trajectory closely linked to the ecclesiastical world.

On the other hand, the choice to interpret F.Liszt has been carefully chosen thanks to his visit to Cordoba during his years of pilgrimage, in which he offered a concert for piano, becoming a relevant and important fact for the musical history of Our city.
In homage to this reality that builds a fundamental part of “Christian Cordoba” and its passage through Spain we offer a program full of color and religious harmonies as their own works indicate.

Alongside this wealth of program will be the hands of the great international pianist Leslie Howard, one of the greatest performers of Liszt today, which will undoubtedly highlight this magnificent closing of the 8 FIP Guadalquivir in Cordoba.
